약 20년 동안 동양의 신비한 천연소재인 실크에 대하여 깊은 연구를 해 오고 있으며, 이전에 알려지지 않았던 실크 단백질의 수많은 신비한 특성을 발견했습니다. 또한 버섯의 다당체 및 다른 활성 성분에 대한 연구를 오랫동안 대학과 공동으로 연구 개발하여 상업화 하고 있으며, 미세조류로부터 생산되는 천연 아스타잔틴에 대한 연구를 수행, 스킨케어 제품에 응용하여 독특한 제품을 상업화 하고 있습니다.

The most important activity of FINECO is to research and develop unique and innovative products by combining Green & Clean technology with natural resources. FINECO has been striving for a long time to discover the mysterious secrets of natural substances through scientific research and to develop products that promote human health and beauty.
For about 20 years, we have been conducting in-depth research on silk, a mysterious natural material in the East, and has discovered many mysterious properties of silk proteins that were previously unknown. In addition, we have been conducting research on polysaccharides and other active ingredients in mushrooms, and natural Astaxanthin from microalgae for a long time in collaboration with universities and commercializing unique products by applying them to skincare and health care products.
Through a close R&D network with relevant experts and companies in Korea and overseas, FINECO conducts research on exploring, isolating and purifying active ingredients from plants and traditional herbs from China, India, and Thailand, as well as traditional herbs in Korea, and strives to develop and commercialize various innovative products.

Technology for stabilizing active ingredients and optimal delivery systems
화인코는 천연 유효 성분을 효과적으로 농축 및 고순도로 정제하는 기술, 천연 활성 성분을 우리 몸에 최적의 상태로 안정하게 전달하는 새로운 전달 시스템과 관련된 기술에도 초점을 맞추어 다양한 연구를 해 왔습니다. 인체에 안전하고 면역거부 반응이 없는 실크피브로인 단백질을 이용하여 환경요인에 불안정한 활성 성분들을 포집, 코팅, 캡슐화 함으로써 안정화 시키는 기술을 개발하였습니다. 또한 천연 활성 성분들을 안정한 상태로 스킨내부로 효율적으로 전달시키는 “실크 나노 캡슐”, “실크-인지질 리포좀” 기술등을 개발하고 있습니다. 이들 기술을 적용하여 제조한 일부 스킨케어 제품들은 빠르고 강한 효과를 요구하는 피부과 클리닉에서 사용되고 있으며, 해외에 수출되고 있습니다.
화인코는 또한 스킨 케어 및 헤어 케어 제품의 최적의 처방을 개발하기 위해 피부 상태를 체계적이고 객관적으로 분석 할 수 있는 피부 분석 시스템을 사용하여 다양한 천연 성분이 피부에 미치는 영향을 연구하고 있으며, 국 내외에서 폭 넓은 임상 테스트를 통하여 여러 피부 트러블을 효과적으로 개선하는 전문제품을 개발하고 있습니다.
FINECO has been conducting a variety of research, focusing on technologies that effectively concentrate and purify natural active ingredients to high purity, as well as technologies related to new delivery systems that deliver natural active ingredients to our body in an optimal and stable state.
We have developed a technology stabilizing active ingredients that are unstable to environmental factors such as oxidation and sunlight by conjugating, coating, and encapsulating them using silk fibroin protein, which is safe for the human body and does not have immune rejection. In addition, we are developing "Silk Nano Capsule" and "Silk-Phospholipid Liposome" technologies that efficiently deliver natural active ingredients into the skin in a stable state. Some skincare products manufactured using these technologies are already used in dermatology clinics that require fast and strong results, and are exported overseas.
In order to develop the optimal formula for skin care and hair care products, FINECO is also researching the effects of various natural ingredients on the skin using a skin analysis system that can systematically and objectively analyze skin conditions, and developing specialized products that effectively improve various skin problems through extensive clinical tests.

Silk Protein for Biomedical Use
실크 단백질은 오늘날 의료 응용 분야에서 주목받는 선구적인 바이오 소재입니다. 실크 단백질은 견고한 기계적 특징, 생체 적합성, 생체내 분해성 및 의료 기기에서의 FDA 승인 등의 많은 장점으로 의료분야에서 새로운 소재로 선택되어 사용되고 있습니다.
화인코는 오랫동안의 연구결과 실크단백질 고분자 용액, 실크 겔, 하이드로겔 필름, 수용성 고분자 실크파우더등 바이오 메디컬 용도로 사용 될 수 있는 다양한 형태의 실크 소재를 개발, 생산 가능하므로, 이들 소재들을 활용하여 바이오 메디칼 분야의 국 내외 회사와 협력하여 여러가지의 실크메디컬 디바이스를 개발추진중에 있습니다.
Silk protein represents a pioneer material for medical applications today. Silk protein is selected due to its robust mechanical features, biocompatibility and FDA-approved uses in medical devices. It is degradable in vivo with controllable rates from days to years and has the capability of being functionalized with bioactive compounds. Moreover, silk materials maintain structural stability even in high temperature, are stable at extremes of pH and can be autoclaved for sterilization, all features that enhance potential utility in new medical devices.
As a result of long-term research, FINECO is able to develop and produce various types of silk materials that can be used for biomedical purposes, such as silk protein polymer solution, silk gel, hydrogel film, and water-soluble silk polymer powder, so we are developing and promoting various silk medical devices in cooperation with domestic and oversea companies in the biomedical field using these our silk materials.
